Silvering Milk teeth
Several years ago, the procedure for Silvering Milk Teeth was very Popular.
On the Cleaned surface of the teeth, the doctor applied a special solution of Silver Nitrate with a brush and left it for several minutes - a Black Film remained on the child's teeth, which should, in theory, stop the development of Caries due to the Antimicrobial effect of Silver. However, in most Cases this does not Happen! : caries continued to develop under the black film of silver, and the child stopped smiling because of the ridicule of his peers.
Fortunately, modern dentistry offers many really effective ways to combat Decay in Primary Teeth.

PERIPHERAL OSSIFYING FIBROMA (POF).
PDL pluripotent cells may transform into osteoblasts, fibroblasts and/or cementoblasts in response to a chronic low-grade stimulus. The result is a unique inflammatory hyperplastic lesion called the PERIPHERAL OSSIFYING FIBROMA (POF). A pyogenic granuloma (produced by similar stimuli) may undergo fibrous maturation and internal calcification to become a POF.
